Correct Systems
Outgrew its platform, rebuilt from scratch: from PrestaShop to headless, with features the old platform couldn’t do.

Situation
A computer store with a webshop that had run on PrestaShop for years. The platform did its job, but it was getting in the way of growth: the features the store needed no longer fit, and years of orders, customers and search positions made a move feel risky.
The hard part
Building a clean new shop isn’t the problem. Bringing the history along is. Live orders and customer data have to come across intact, and the search positions built up over years must not drop in the switch. That is data migration, not a template.
What I built
- →A new platform on Medusa with a modern storefront.
- →Migration of live orders, customers and promotions from the old PrestaShop, moved across intact.
- →A PC configurator that lets customers assemble a system that lands as the right line items in the cart.
- →Repair tracking: a work-order number customers use to follow the status of their repair.
- →AI-assisted product entry, so new items reach the shop faster and more consistently.
The migration
With custom modules on top: PC configurator and repair tracking.
Result
The store runs on a platform that grows with it instead of holding it back. The history moved across, and features like the configurator and repair tracking now belong to the shop itself instead of being a detour beside it.
